Why attend?
The discussion will be an opportunity to recognise the significance of the 2021 Brilliant Women in Digital Health award initiative, as well as the impact of the winners’ contributions and achievements on the sector.
The panellists will also explore the findings of the ‘Understanding Gender Diversity in Digital Health’ survey, developed in collaboration between Telstra Health, the ?Australasian Institute of Digital Health?(AIDH), CSIRO’s Australian e-Health Research Centre and the Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre?(DHCRC).
The aim of this first of its kind survey has been to understand the current state of gender diversity, career progression and equity within digital health, and to be reflective of all perspectives of those working in the sector, no matter their gender. The findings will help to inform decision makers on what actions may be needed to create change and achieve progress for gender equity and career advancement in digital health.
