Bettina McMahon

Chief Executive Officer at Healthdirect Australia and Chair of the Board at the Australasian Institute of Digital Health.

Prior to joining Healthdirect Australia, Bettina was the Interim Chief Executive Officer at the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA), where she had also held roles as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive General Manager for Industry and Government.

Bettina played a key role in the successful transition of the National e-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA) into ADHA, with a tenure across the two organisations spanning 11 years.

Bettina has held senior management roles in the area of risk management and compliance with AUSTRAC, the Office of Transport Security, and the Australian Government Information Management Office. She commenced her career working for the NSW Environment Protection Authority.

She has a Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Education, Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance, Masters of Public Policy, and Masters of Business in IT Management.
