A/Prof Jared Dart BSc BA MBBS PhD (eHealth) FRACG is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Bond University, practising GP, practice owner, entrepreneur and Chief Medical Officer of Welio. He has set up $10M GP Super Clinics for the University of Queensland, conducted research in eHealth and the primary-secondary care interface, consulted widely as a management consultant for leading health care enterprises and has been passionately involved in leading technology and service innovation in primary care.

Welio, a partnership with Microsoft, is focused on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the interaction between the patient and their usual GP. Welio’s first product release allows secure, monetisable virtual consults with patients via a web portal and smartphone application.
