Dr Kim Wong

Dr Wong is the Head of Nephrology at Peninsula Health. He obtained my medical degree from the University of New South Wales in 1987 and completed training as a Nephrologist in New Zealand, Scotland and Singapore under the auspices of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

Dr Wong is the committee member of the South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (SEMPHN) Clinical Council, Deputy Chair of Senior Medical Staff Association and the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) at Peninsula Health. Dr Wong completed a diploma in Health Informatics in 2001 and is the key Clinical IT Leader for Clinicians in all health services that he works in. Dr Wong hopes to create a well-connected clinical fraternity that provides excellent compassionate care closer to patients’ home or residence.
