Dr Walid Jammal

Dr Walid Jammal is a GP in Western Sydney. He has a strong commitment to quality and safety in health care, as well as health system policy and reform. He has a keen interest in health economics and integrated models of care.

Dr Jammal is Co-Chair of the GP Advisory Group for the Agency of Clinical Innovation (NSW Health), was Co-Chair of the Commonwealth’s Primary Care Reform Steering Group, is a Member of the Medicare Services Advisory Committee (MSAC), Board member of the Western Sydney LHD, and a Board Member of Western Sydney Primary Health Network. He was also a member of the Commonwealth’s Strengthening Medicare Taskforce.
