Jeremy Knibbs
Jeremy Knibbs is the publisher of The Medical Republic Group, a healthcare company which aims to improve community health through enabling better connected and better-informed patients and doctors. Wild Health Summits are a part of the Medical Republic Group. The group also publishes a fortnightly medical newspaper to GPs, an email news and analysis service and a social and web presence for all Australian doctors, and has investments and interests in digital health start-ups such as the cloud-based patient management system MediRecords and the Telehealth start-up, Welio.
The group has a strong focus on trying to help the healthcare sector better understand disruptive and transformative digital technologies in health and how they can they will affect doctors and help transform aspects of the Australian community health. Jeremy launched the Daze of Disruption Summit series in his previous company, The Misfits Media Company, one of the first broad-based digital disruption and transformation conferences for businesses in the country.
Prior to this Jeremy was CEO of Australia’s largest B2B media groups, Reed Business Information and Cirrus Media. RBI Australia, part of the global Reed-Elsevier group, launched and built the global internet business directory, Hotfrog, and several large vertical internet based businesses. RBI and Cirrus also published Australian Doctor, Pharmacy News, Specialist Update Network, and Six Minutes, Australia’s first daily email newsletter for doctors.
