Marcus founded Surgical Partners after commencing his career in healthcare-related Investment banking, and then running a day hospital and its associated medical practices. An engineer by background, he saw the substantial efficiency and accuracy opportunities in using technology to integrate and automate revenue-related money flows in medical practices. The Surgical Partners platform is now used to manage the incomes of more than 7,000 Doctors in Australia and New Zealand, and is at the forefront of ongoing financial technology innovation in healthcare.
