Cheryl McCullagh

Adjunct Associate Professor Cheryl McCullagh is the Director of Clinical Integration for The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) Australia. Cheryl has 30 years’ health experience, including roles in Nursing, Research, Education and Executive Management, in adult and paediatric specialist referral hospitals in Adelaide and Sydney, Australia.

Key responsibilities include Clinical leadership for e-health Strategy and Adoption, clinical data collections, analytics, Activity Based Funding (ABF), and Efficiency and Revenue sustainability. Cheryl has a focus on developing people and their processes with new system integration to evolve service delivery, fair resource allocation, efficiency, and innovation in Health services. Recent work includes research into cost, efficiency and safety of EMR implementations, use of patient/parent facing health technology in the paediatric setting, and delivery of the ‘MEMORY strategy, a child health record, for life’. She has leadership roles in EMR delivery for eHealth NSW, and is appointed to the Clinical and Technical Board – Advisory Committee to the Australian Digital Health Agency.

Cheryl has a Diploma in Applied Science and Bachelor of Nursing, from Flinders University Adelaide and a Masters of Health Service Management from the University of Technology Sydney, and is a Student of Lean.
