Danny Hui

Danny is the founder of sameview, a digital platform that helps families who care for a person with a disability to achieve their goals faster, with less cost, and much less effort. Sameview delivers on the provision of person centred care by providing a trusted online environment for each family’s medical, allied health, education, and support members to be on the same page, and to collaborate with each other.

Sameview was a winner of the Optus Future Makers program, and also a finalist of the Singtel Asia-Pacific Future Makers program. Sameview has been supported by the NSW Government through Jobs for NSW, and is currently a member of the Remarkable Accelerator program, supported by the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Macquarie Group, icare NSW, and Microsoft.

Danny is passionate about advocating for families and carers of people with a disability. In his family his youngest child was born with a rare neurological condition and their experience led Danny to his efforts to support other families with similar experiences. He contributes his time and capabilities as a non-executive director at Minimbah, a day program provider for people with disabilities, as well as volunteering for his local community.

Danny holds an MBA from Chifley Business School, and an Electrical Engineering degree (Honours) from the University of Wollongong, where he was also awarded prizes from the Tyree Group, and BHP.

Danny’s professional career includes 15 years of management and technical experience across energy, mining, and medical industries. His areas of expertise include strategy development, operational management in 24/7 businesses, electricity distribution business operations, emergency/crisis management, electrical safety, WHS, technical training, and business improvement.
