Dr Danielle McMullen

Dr Danielle McMullen is the Vice President of the Australian Medical Association and a General Practitioner. She has demonstrated skills in leadership, and effectively engaging decision- makers to deliver strategic policy objectives. She has also shown herself to be a trusted voice of general practice in the media.

Clinically, Danielle has an interest in women’s health and family planning, mental health, and doctors’ health. She brings that lens of caring for people across their lifespan to her advocacy work. She has been a valued participant in recent projects including TGA opioid reforms, COVID-19 management in NSW and the Strengthening Medicare Taskforce. Danielle is committed to helping build a connected healthcare system of the future, where digital tools help support clinicians deliver best-practice care to their patients.
